Cold Dry Weather Stifling Argentina Wheat

Poor growing conditions in winter wheat, cold and dry, are contributing to a reduced forecast for the 2012 -13 wheat harvest.   

Rainfall the past 45 days was virtually non-existent in Buenos Aires,  the main wheat province in Argentina.  Cordoba the second largest winter wheat area also was extremely dry.   At the same time, frequent, severe frosts have stifled growth and development... subscribers continue to full story...
