Midwest Heat Lessening, Rainfall Uncertain

A cool front this morning has sunk deep into the Central United States, setting off showers in Kansas this morning. Kansas heat was extreme in July and 6.4 F above normal from a dominating heat dome. Midwest Corn Belt temperatures were 4 F above normal and the hottest since 1955. A weather front in Kansas is the beginning of a cool week shaping up for the northern United States...
