North Dakota is expected to make a favorable wheat yield in 2012 with average yields at 44.9 bushels per acre. This estimate is based on the Wheat Quality Council Tour results, conducted last week. Ben Handcock, vice president of the Quality Council claimed that, besides high yield potential, wheat quality was also very good in the top US spring wheat state.
