Cooler Midwest Temperatures, Little Rain in Forecast

Welcome cooling is predicted in the Midwest but rainfall is apt to be disappointing on dry farms in the eastern Midwest, Mid South and Southern Great Plains.   The 6-10 outlook is threatening for returning heat in the Great Plains as a strong ridge of high pressure predicted to build back into the US heartland.   

Very early this  morning "ridge rider" thunderstorms produced rainfall in northern Minnesota and the Dakotas.  We also see a tropical disturbance in the Caribbean south of Cuba... subscribers continue to full story...
