Corn Planting Off to Fast Start, Dryness a Worry

Warm and dry Midwest weather pushed United States corn planting to 7% complete,  the fastest start on record, but dry field conditions are a serious concern.

Illinois the second top US corn state led the way with 17% of corn planted by April 8.  Planting was very advanced also in the Mid South Missouri, Kentucky and Tennessee.  Subscribers continue to full story...
