Strong Showers Lift Soybeans in South Brazil

Hoped for heavy rainfall lifted southern Brazil and Argentina soybeans in mid February, though dry pockets have persisted in central Mato Grosso.

While Parana received beneficial, heavy rain, Rio Grande do Sul showers were more scattered and lighter.    Brazil's  southernmost farm state still needs more rain.    A persistent trough of low pressure would promote unsettled weather and good showers again this week in Parana and Rio Grande do Sul... subscribers continue to full story...
