Ukraine rainfall must be heavy to resolve a lingering drought in the wake of a hot, dry summer. Dry field conditions are hindering winter wheat planting in the southern and central Ukraine, creating a need for heavy rainfall.
Rainfall picked up recently improving winter wheat planting conditions on Ukraine winter wheat farms, but the big picture is still one of drought.
