Ukraine Needs Heavy Rain For Wheat Planting

Ukraine rainfall must be heavy to resolve a lingering drought in the wake of a hot, dry summer.  Dry field conditions are hindering winter wheat planting in the southern and central Ukraine, creating a need for heavy rainfall.

Rainfall  picked up recently improving winter wheat planting conditions on Ukraine winter wheat farms, but the big picture is still one of drought.    

Scattered heavy rains also affected southern Russia winter wheat growing areas in Krasnodar and Stavropol.  Turkey,  the top Mideast wheat producer was very dry,  however, along with European wheat in eastern Poland, southern Romania and Bulgaria... subscribers continue to full story...
